The color does last longer than the lipsticks and the lipliners do.
Note that it says that it's a matte finish.  For shine, add lip gloss.
I love the idea of long lasting color!  I ordered Desert Rose and Hope, but found that they do not match the colors shown in the sample colors.   Sadly, I don't think they're even close.
The colors shown in the tubes are more realistic, although these 2 colors are actually closer in color than the color in the tubes seem to show.  They are warm, not cool colors.
Unfortunately, they're wrong for me, and the cool lip gloss isn't enough to off-set the warm coloring.  : (
Perhaps the Cabernet is what I need, but at the cost I'm cautious about making another error.  :-/

I was very disappointed in this Andrea Rose lipgloss.  I purchased the lipgloss in Desert Rose and Honey Bun.  When I applied the lipgloss, there was a shine.  But the shine dissipated quickly and my lips were left with a flat stain of the lipgloss color.  I tried to scrub it off to no avail.  Thankfully, it wore off by the next day.  This happened with both lipglosses so both went into the trash.  I was so sad this happened because I could use this lipgloss with Dr. St. Amand's Guaifenesin protocol.
